There has been a change of plans - we are going to meet at Ellyn's this month. I'm sending you all the google map because I don't want any stranger sicko-pervs to stalk her. D, if you need a ride, let me know. Please bring food and drink, as usual.

The pie is a go, unless I screw it up--but the beauty of pumpkin pie is it's pretty hard to mess up.
I have the utmost confidence in your ability to produce said pie in nothing but a spectacular fashion. You've made it before with great success!
Hurray for pie! I'm really looking forward to book club this Saturday. I'll provide beer, rum and Coke to drink, and I'm thinking of making these Thai chicken skewer-thingies(that's a culinary term).I found an easy recipe in the Raley's food magazine. Steve said he'd bring pizza and Mary always brings something good (no pressure). Sounds like a party. Don't forget your lists of possible reads for next month. See you there!
I might bring the Savory Bacon and Onion Bread Pudding I discovered. No, it does not involve sugar but it is delicious. I ate practically the whole pan by myself and now my arteries are crying for mercy. It's very Thanksgiving-like.
oh man, everything sounds too good to miss! i wonder if we will have time to discuss books between bites...
oh, and mary can you bring that recipe with you - it sounds awesome!
Yay! How can you go wrong with bacon?
I forgot to ask Christine - can you bring Freaks and Geeks so we can watch the first episode or two? Also, do you have a separate email address for blogger? Maybe that's why I can't invite you.
No, my blogger email is the same, and I got the directions to Ellyn's so I don't know what's going on. As for Freaks and Geeks, I've lent it out, and don't believe I'd be able to get it back in time.
Too bad about "Freaks..." but hey I've got the eight episode PBS Pride and Predjudice. That's almost the same. Right? Just kidding. I don't think that it would be, shall we say "appreciated" by some of the book club members. It might be the shortest(or longest) meeting ever.
