Hopefully no one is too mad but we are going to wait and meet on Jan. 4th. Scheduling conflicts and family obligations are just too much for December. This will give everyone time to finish the book and since more people are free next month, we may have a bigger turnout. Maybe my 'new boyfriend' will show up!
Let me know if the 4th works - I think it's a Sunday. Who wants to host. Steve? Katherine? Ellyn?

Oh I am glad we are moving it - something just came up last night that meant I would have missed Saturday. Jan. 4th works for me - anytime.
The 4th is a Sunday, Saturday is the 3rd. Either works for me--though I'd like to see where the football games land. There should be one or two playoff games on either day. I vote for having it somewhere the game could be on? I won't be overly invested, but I'm interested. And that place could include my place, btw.
My only complaint with moving it is now I have to come up with my own dang book to read on the bus the next couple of weeks--thanks a lot! ;)
How about the 3rd at Christine's? I can bring chairs.

I vote for the 3rd;Saturdays are just easier for me. I'm still willing to have it at my house. If it looks like there's going to be a bigger turnout we might need the space. Where ever we meet,I'm planning on being there. I've already found a suggestion for the January-February read! (FYI- although I don't know anything about the playoff games, I do have ESPN and I'm not afraid to use it;)
I'm all for having it at Ellyn's--I just didn't want to dictate football watching at someone else's place, unless I put my place on the table :)
